Time for tea at Tamar View Garden Centre

Residents of Butterfly Lodge were delighted to take a trip out in the home’s mini-bus for a fun visit to Tamar View Nurseries in Carkeel.

Sarah McCaffrey, deputy manager at the home, said: “Our residents Joan, Margaret, Marian and Avis all said how much they enjoyed the outing.

“They loved looking at the plants and flowers and enjoyed a little browse around the homeware and gifts section.

“Maybe most of all they liked spending time in the lovely restaurant and having a chat over a cuppa and a delicious slice of cake.

“We all welcome a change of scene from time to time, and it’s great that we have our own mini-bus to enable us to go for trips like this.”
