Emergency Services Day
On this year’s Emergency Services Day – 9 September – residents of Chestnut Lodge were visited by firefighters from Yeovil Fire Station.
Residents were able to look around the engine while others were treated to a discussion on fire and fire fighting equipment. One resident, Ted Hutchings (pictured), vividly remembered his time working at Crewkerne fire station.
The visit was part of the full and varied activities programme we provide for residents.
