YEOVIL CARE HOME CHANGES HANDS

Hendford Nursing Home in Yeovil has been taken over by Somerset-based Camelot Care. The home has been renamed Acacia Nursing Home and new experienced manager Pauline Purnell will lead the team.

The six-year-old purpose-built home with 41 single en-suite bedrooms will continue to offer services for general nursing, dementia and respite care.

Camelot Care has 15 years’ experience in providing top quality nursing and dementia care to the elderly with homes in Wellington and Bridgwater in Somerset and Plymouth, Devon.

Clare Woodhead, Operations Manager of Camelot Care said: “This is a wonderful opportunity to fully develop the potential of the home and to provide an exceptional care service in Yeovil.”
