Butterfly Lodge announced as finalist in The South West Care Awards

Butterfly Lodge in Plymouth has been chosen as a finalist in the ‘Dementia Care’ category at The South West Care Awards. Our multi award-winning care home has been recognised for supporting individuals living with dementia through compassionate, innovative, and person-centred approaches.

The South West Care Awards are a celebration of excellence across the care sector in the region and honour the individuals, teams and organisations who go above and beyond every day to support others and make a lasting difference in their communities.

Butterfly Lodge is already an award-winning care home. At the ‘Celebrating Excellence in Care Awards’ organised annually by Plymouth City Council, the home has scooped multiple awards including – in 2024 and 2025 alone – Excellence in Dementia Care, Manager and Deputy Manager of the Year, the People’s Choice Award, Culinary Team of the Year and Team of the Year Award.

The winners of The South West Care Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony on 16th October.
