SUMMER FETES AT ACACIA AND FRESHFIELDS

A good time was had by all 39 residents of Acacia Nursing Home Yeovil when the home held its first Summer Fayre under new owners Camelot Care. Singer Sara had everyone moving with her 50’s and 60’s music theme and £730 was raised for the home’s Residents Fund. A second ‘Snug Lounge’ created next to the patio garden helped to provide the space for this very successful event.

Meanwhile at Freshfields Nursing Home in Plymouth residents, their families and friends, and the staff team all enjoyed a wonderful get-together, and raised £900 for the Residents’ Fund through a variety of stalls and activities. The home, which has the Dementia Quality Mark, serves the needs of 38 residents and is in the St Budeaux part of the city.
