Residents of Camelot House and Lodge were delighted when a shopping trip undertaken for ‘just a loaf of bread’ turned into a full-scale weekly shop.
Jean and Margaret were on what was intended to be a short outing, accompanied by manager Zillah Oakes and colleague Sam Paddon, but it unexpectedly resulted – with the residents' enthusiastic encouragement – in yielding a major trolley-full of groceries.
